The edge of care service uses a trauma informed approach to support children and families to gain the necessary skills, knowledge, and awareness to live more independently in their communities, and raise their children to have a secure, healthy and happy childhood. When action can be taken early enough, many issues can be dealt with swiftly and before they have potentially escalated. Our offer looks to support families who are struggling to cope with challenging behaviours, family conflicts and similar issues. We work directly with families using a strengths-based model. This ensures achievements are celebrated and developed. We will ensure the support plan we develop is tailored to their specific needs to strengthen the family unit.
